Slurry knife gate valve

The Series DX slurry knife gate valve is designed for heavy slurry applications in the power and mining industries. When the Series DX valve opens, the reinforced elastomer sleeves seal against each other and provide a 100 percent full port opening, minimizing turbulence, which in turn minimizes wear. The seats isolate and protect all metal parts of the valve from coming in contact with the process. When the valve is closed, the sleeves provide a drop-tight seal. Another feature of this valve is its ability to provide drop-tight shutoff in both directions. Each time the Series DX valve strokes, it is designed to discharge a small amount of slurry out of the valve, keeping the gate path and seat area clear of entrapped particulates. The DX prevents slurry buildup in the seat area, which might otherwise prohibit the valve from closing.

Model 4800 Series mass flow meters and controllers now have digital communications via RS-232 and a downport connection option. In addition, they are the first of Brooks’s mass flow devices to be fully RoHS compliant. This one-to-one communication protocol allows the customer to provide a setpoint and receive the process value, select one of nine gases for the calibration curve, access the valve override function, and access the re-zero function. Load holding valves

LHDV load holding pressure valves feature dampening components, which make them suitable for use with load sensing spool valves, such as those found in the company’s PSL/PSV valve series. Load holding valves always act on the return flow side of double-acting consumers. These valves block the return duct according to their set pressure (setting approximately 15 percent above the maximum load pressure), generating a counterforce to the pushing, or negative, load. Therefore, the pump acts to feed the inflow side, pressurizing the cylinder enough to overcome the set pressure of the load holding valve and, thereby, drop the load. LHDV load holding valves come with a number of options, including shock valves and shuttle valves with or without a bypass check valve.
