All banner advertisements on ASME.ORG AND MEMAGAZINE.ORG must follow the specifications listed below:

• Full banner ad size is 468 X 60 pixels.
   
• Demi banner ad size is 105 X 60 pixels.
   
• No banner ad should extend beyond the purchased pixel size (No pop-up ads that cover other parts of the page).
   
• Any banner ad that closely resembles ASME content (Same text style-Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, or Sans-Serif - or graphic concept) will have a disclaimer of "advertisement" posted above the banner ad.
   
• No full banner ad should be more than 30K in file size. Demi ads should be no more than 10K in file size.
   
• All banner ads should be .gif or .jpg format.
   
• Javascript banner ads should be tested in all browsers version 3.X and higher prior to sending them to ASME. If the Javascript does not function, ASME may require a .gif or .jpg alternative ad.
   
• There will be no more than 2 full banner ads on any page or no more than 4 demi ads or 1 full banner ad and 2 demi ads. 
   
• The terms "header" and "footer" are generalizations. Banner placement may vary, but will generally be either above the majority of the content of the page or below the content of the page. Demi Ads may be placed under navigation panels on the left or right of the pages.
   
• This page lists the official specifications and may be updated as ASME considers it necessary.
   
• ASME reserves the right to reject or cancel any advertisements.
